Here I share all of hidden gems I've discovered with you so that you won't have to waste time trying to find something you'll enjoy! While The Highland Blog's focus is on music primarily, there will be plenty outside of music that will be covered (i.e. manga, comic books, films, etc.).
WHY DID YOU START THE HIGHLAND BLOG?
With today's accessibility to countless tech, resources, and platforms, creators are pumping out an endless amount of content. While this is amazing and inspiring, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the sheer amount of art that is out there. When you want to find new music, you are quickly bombarded with thousands upon thousands of options with little help as to who best fits your taste. You are feeling like watching a new film or anime, but the last thing you want to do is waste hours of your week on a title that is whack. While it is easy to cling to the top 10, 20,or 40 charts, there are loads of amazing creators that are buried beneath all the Drake's, Billie Eilish's, etc etc. (and every other artist/work of art constantly on the top charts). Oh, and of course, no shade whatsoever to any of the aforementioned artists:). The point is, I aim to make your search a little easier and expose you, reader, to names that you may have missed.
